C&K Collagen Protein Irish Coffee
C&K COLLAGEN PROTEIN IRISH COFFEE
Think Irish coffee, but add protein. Is there a better combo than whiskey and coffee? After drinking this, we seriously doubt it. If you're lucky (or Irish), you'll get a taste. AND, the best part about this recipe is that it's a BOOZY PROTEIN SHAKE. The added collagen protein doesn't affect the consistency or the flavor at all. Secret protein.
MACROS per drink: 244 cal | 9g carbs, 12g fats, 10g protein
📍 C&K Coffee (2 shots espresso plus water to fill OR drip coffee)
📍 1 scoop C&K Clearly Collagen (optional if you want to add protein, so of course you'll add it)
📍 1oz Jameson whiskey
📍 1 tbsp Brown sugar
📍 2tbsp Heavy whipping cream (or more if you'd like, but macros account for 2tbsp)
📍 Optional: powdered sugar and vanilla extract for cream (we used truvia sugar free powdered sugar)
STEP 1: Fill your glass with boiling water to heat. Set aside.
STEP 2: Whip your cream and set aside. You want it whipped enough so that it will sit on top of your drink, but not so whipped that you get a mouth full of whipped cream and no liquid when you try to drink it. Think two-days-old whipped cream "runny."
*Pro tip: Make your whipped cream in a mason jar! Add your heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar and vanilla to taste together into the jar, seal it up and SHAKE IT LIKE YOU MEAN IT. About 237 shakes (we counted).
STEP 3: Brew your brew. We used two shots of espresso and added hot water to fill the glass.
STEP 4: Stir in 1oz Jameson whiskey, brown sugar and clearly collagen.
STEP 5: Add whipped topping and enjoy!
