C&K Gluten Free Maple & Coffee Glazed Bacon
THIS. IS. IT. Time to level up your bacon game (yes, it's possible). Coffee and bacon are the perfect pair you've never thought to marry. Sweet, salty, smoky, plus earthy depth of coffee flavors... #drool. Check this out.
📍 1 shot C&K espresso (we recommend Night Train)
*NOTE: if you don't have an espresso maker buy an espresso at a café; day-old espresso will work fine here.
📍 12 slices THICK, HIGH QUALITY bacon
📍 1 tbsp sugar free maple syrup
📍 2 tbsp dark brown sugar
STEP 1: Preheat your oven to 350. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and lay out your bacon evenly.
STEP 2: Mix your glaze: combine espresso, maple syrup, and brown sugar until it's mostly dissolved.
STEP 3: Brush HALF of your glaze on the top side of your bacon and pop it in the oven for 10 minutes.
STEP 4: Remove your tray from the oven and tick up the temp to 400. Flip each piece of bacon and brush with your leftover glaze before returning your tray to the oven for another 10-15 minutes.
