C&K Homemade Vanilla Oat Milk

If you haven't tried oat milk in your coffee yet, it's time. It's like drinking that sweet leftover cereal milk, except good for you. Spend 5 minutes (and not $5) to whip up a batch for a whopping ~50c per half gallon. Here's how to make it at home (so you'll never have to drag yourself to the store first thing in the morning—or, realistically, wait for that grocery delivery—again).

INGREDIENTS

📍 1 cup rolled oats
📍 3 cups of water
📍 1 tsp granulated monk fruit (or sugar)
📍 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
📍 Pinch of salt

DIRECTIONS

STEP 1: Add all ingredients to your blender or food processer and blend until well combined.

STEP 2: Over a bowl, strain through cheesecloth to remove any chunks.

STEP 3: Pour into your storage jar and refrigerate!

NOTE: Not recommended for hot drinks as it doesn't heat well.

Enjoy immediately! Shake well before use. If you give this a try, be sure to tag @CaffeineandKilos on IG and let us know how you like it! Keep calm and latte on.
