📍 3 cups water
📍 1 1/2 cups sugar substitute of choice (we like monkfruit)
📍 1 tbsp sugar free maple syrup
📍 1 tsp vanilla extract
📍 1 tsp salt
STEP 1: Bring 1.5 cups of water to a boil and whisk in your sugar substitute. Simmer until it's golden brown (~20 mins)
STEP 2: Heat the other 1.5 cups of water and add it to the pot, lowering the heat.
STEP 3: Add your remaining ingredients (vanilla, maple syrup and salt) and whisk till dissolved.
STEP 4: Turn off your heat and let it cool (the longer, the more flavorful).
STEP 5: Store it in a jar/bottle and refrigerate.
