Caffeinated Watermelon/Lime Margarita Jello Shots

The combination of watermelon and lime is what takes these margarita jello shots to the next level (but not up--down, because they're SUBLIME). These are REALLY easy to make, REALLY fast to make (aside from the setting time), and REALLY delicious to eat.
Caffeinated Watermelon/Lime Margarita Jello Shots

CAFFEINATED WATERMELON/LIME MARGARITA JELLO SHOTS

Disclaimer (maybe enticer?): recipe combines caffeine and alcohol.

In the spirit of St. Patrick's Day, these guys are BRIGHT green and shamrock-shaped. The best, tastiest jello shots ever--and the ONLY caffeinated ones. Serve them up in shooter-cups or any shape you like! Get ready to shamrock and roll.

MACROS per shot: 20 cal | 3g carbs, 0g fats, 0g protein, ~25mg caffeine

INGREDIENTS (makes ~30 shots)

📍 2 scoops C&K Clearly Caffeine (watermelon)
📍 3oz packet lime jello mix (you can opt to use sugar free for better macros)
📍 Unflavored gelatin (1/4oz packet)
📍 Juice of 1 lime
📍 3oz tequila (we used silver)
📍 1.5oz triple sec
📍 3oz cold water
📍 1 cup boiling water

NOTE: RESIST ANY URGE to manipulate the alcohol content of your shots--too much alcohol may prevent your jello from setting correctly.

SECOND NOTE: These yield a sweet, strong watermelon-y flavor. To tone it down, use only ONE scoop of Clearly Caffeine.

DIRECTIONS

STEP 1: Mix together tequila, triple sec, lime juice and cold water in a small bowl (it will be FRAGRANT). Pop that into the fridge to chill 5-10 mins.

STEP 2: Add your lime jello mix and clearly caffeine to a medium bowl (cue powder storm--beware inhalation). Stir in boiling water until completely dissolved.

Ooooo. Ahhhh. 🤩

STEP 3: Get your small bowl from the fridge and whisk in the unflavored gelatin; make sure you are whisking WHILST pouring the gelatin in or else you'll get jelly chunks. Let that sit for one minute.

STEP 4: After sitting, add the cold boozy bowl to the warm mix and stir well.

STEP 5: Pour the liquid into your molds/cups of choice. Also note the number of shots you make will affect the macros/alcohol and caffeine content per shot. We used a shallow baking pan for a sheet of jello which we then cut up with a cookie cutter. Back into the fridge it all goes for AT LEAST 2 hours until it sets completely.

STEP 6: IF YOU USED A SHEET (you're done if you used cups/individual molds), remove your set jello from the fridge and cut as many of your shape of choice desired from your sheet (obviously, we used shamrocks).
STEP 7: Carefully remove the excess scraps in between your shapes BEFORE you try to take your shapes off the sheet or you're likely to rip them. And nobody wants a ripped shamrock. Is that a bad luck omen? We don't want to find out.

AND YOU'RE DONE! These are REALLY easy to make, REALLY fast to make (aside from the setting time), and REALLY delicious to eat.
